Pravix was founded with a straightforward mission: bridge the gap between research-grade technology and the institutions, government bodies, and enterprises that need it most.

We design, manufacture, and support our products end-to-end — from sensor selection and hardware engineering to cloud platform development and field deployment. Our team combines deep R&D experience with a practical understanding of how institutions actually operate, which means our products are built to be deployed, not just demonstrated.

Pravix is incorporated as Gujranwala Technologies and Systems Pvt Ltd, a DPIIT-recognized company headquartered in India.

15 Years Building Things That Work in the Real World.

After over a decade working across R&D, product design, and project management — including leading multidisciplinary teams at IIT Ropar's iHub AWaDH — I founded Pravix to bridge the gap between what technology can do in a lab and what it needs to do in the field.

At iHub AWaDH, I worked with hardware, firmware, cloud, and AI/ML teams building solutions for institutions across India. I saw firsthand how good research stays locked in the lab — not because the technology isn't ready, but because deployment is its own discipline.

That's what Pravix is for.

We're building products that take research-grade technology and make it reliable, reproducible, and supportable enough to deploy at scale — whether that's 20 weather stations in Punjab, 7 IoT labs across NITs, or edge AI hardware that runs in a factory without an internet connection.

Built on IIT Ropar's Research Ecosystem

Pravix operates in close partnership with the Academic Weather and Data Hub (AWaDH) at IIT Ropar. AWaDH is IIT Ropar's center for applied research in environmental sensing, IoT systems, and data science — combining academic rigor with a focus on real-world deployment.

This partnership gives Pravix access to:

  • Research-Backed Design — Sensor selection, calibration methods, and data validation protocols developed with IIT faculty and researchers.
  • Curriculum Development — CPS Lab exercises co-designed with AWaDH educators, ensuring academic relevance and progressive difficulty.
  • Quality Standards — Products and curriculum reviewed against IIT Ropar's internal quality benchmarks before deployment.
  • Institutional Credibility — Direct institutional backing that government and enterprise buyers can verify.

Founder, Pravix

15+ years of experience in R&D, product design, and project management. Former Project Manager at iHub AWaDH, IIT Ropar, where he led multidisciplinary teams in hardware, firmware, cloud, and AI/ML. Previously contributed to DST's ATAL Tinkering Labs initiative — driving innovation and creativity in grassroots STEM education.
